i have seen the carseat with rollers on it at the babyshop in centerpoint (dont remember which one though) we actually have an attachment for our carseat... which is the same concept only our is removable... i use it for when we travel through the airport because i always use the carseat on the plane. basically on both its a carseat with a luggage type handle that pulls out and the car seat will roll (like a piece of luggage)

I have some vague idea that maxi-cosi do something that is a stage 1/2 car seat but that will go onto a buggy too? I could be completely wrong, but remember seeing someone with something once that I was sure was that. Maybe try the maxi-cosi website and see if anything fits the bill. I don't mean the maxi-cosi infant seat that so many of us have that is compatible with the bugaboo/quinny etc etc, but an actual maxi-cosi buggy where the seat seemed to be able to be used as a car seat for older babies too. Could have been a blurred figment of my imagination but worth a look on their site Otherwise there is always the sit and stroll as others have mentioned or this, which I saw in my catalogue the other day (it's a UK website if you aren't British) http://www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/sp+baby-wheeleasy-in-holidays-and-sun-protection+B9741 - oh sorry, just realised that link is for infant carriers only, so not any use - sorry! edited by pilotsprincess on 17/10/2011

How about one of those car seats with rollers on them? Have no idea what they're called but I've definitely seen older toddlers on them... I think that's the one she is referring to http://www.google.ae/imgres?q=sit+n+stroll+car+seat+stroller&hl=en&sa=X&biw=1280&bih=709&tbm=isch&prmd=imvns&tbnid=GDt_bGJolVKRbM:&imgrefurl=http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sit-N-Stroll-Convertible-Car-Seat-and-Stroller/10854728&docid=ipo43vKMjeDMKM&imgurl=http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/08/03/13/80/0008031380641_500X500.jpg&w=500&h=500&ei=1AubTpGaIYycOr-2nIkK&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=191&vpy=147&dur=3443&hovh=225&hovw=225&tx=147&ty=117&sig=107363051361930690628&page=1&tbnh=160&tbnw=160&start=0&ndsp=18&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0 I've seen same on Dubizzle today

A pram with a car seat for the older/longer babies? An easy to carry car seat? Booster? I'm looking for something that i can use when my husband is at work and has the carseat. I will not get a taxi without one, we are moving away from the metro route so i need somthing. Does anyone know of any options?
