Hi, My little one was very strong too, hooked one arm out then the other then the whole blanket was off/over the head. I panicked a bit when i always went to check on her and the blanket would be over her head!! so we bit the bullet and put her in a sleeping bag before she suffocated herself. She has slept all night every night since. Some babies just dont like being restricted imo. :-) Thanks GEA1984. What sleeping bag did you use? DD protests every time we swaddle her and is now developing an angry cry as we are trying to settle her, I'm convinced she feels uncomfortable ...

Hi Ladies My 11 week old DD is very active and strong. She can easily get out of her Miracle Blanket swaddle from Mothercare - no matter how snuggly hubby and I wrap her. Can anyone recommend other swaddling (restraining LOL) blankets or offer other suggestions as to what I can do to ensure she doesn't wake herself up from her active reflexes? Also, she has just started sleeping through the night. I know at some point I have to introduce sleeping bags and give up the swaddle but I am dreading her staying awake all night long minus her swaddle. How have others dealt with this? TIA! TIA
