Our LO is going to be 1 in 4 months so we're trying to decide what to do about a carseat. With our oldest we bought him a Graco from here and didn't find it good at all. He's not very tall but ended up being in the last setting within months. We bought a Britax back home and got rid of the Graco. It would be great if we could use the Britax we have now but our oldest isn't at the weight requirement for a booster seat.

Has anyone had luck with carseats here or do most of you get them from back in your home countries? Also what brands do you prefer? I love the Britax but we're trying to look at all our options before having one shipped out.

We love the Maxi Cosi Tobi - because of it's height for our LO to see outside. www.maxi-cosi.com/gb-en/carseats/toddler/tobi However a friend of ours has GRACO Nautilus 3-1 and that looks good too and can go till they are 4-5 years old. http://www.gracobaby.com/Products/Pages/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductID=8J00GLX If you can buy them back home - they will be cheaper BUT you will have to consider the weight of the carseat to bring them over - unless you go back home often and dont require a lot of bagage when travelling this can be considered as part of your luggage. There is Maxi Cosi thread saying it cost only 160 pounds back home ....
