Weaning a co-sleeper
Hi all. DD is 22 months today and I have been wanting to wean her from my bed for a while now. Her bed has been set up and she likes playing on it during the day, uses it as a table as well as pretends to sleep in it with her dolly. At night I lay her down in my bed (I sit next to her) and she will only sleep if my arm is on her and she is hugging it. It's literally like an on/off switch for her crying - take my arm off = crying, put it back on = quiet. This kind of clingy behaviour started because of a mixture of new baby in the house as well as going to nursery (which I ended up taking her out of) etc So before I start to try and lay her down on her bed I thought I'd ask if you had any suggestions! Thanks so much.
