What to do with my thee children in the summer (No nursery)

I have thee under thee years old and we can't afford to put them into nursery. My husbands work will subsidise it for my twins from September. We go crazy indoors and tend to spend 2-3 hours outdoors at the moment. We enjoy kindermusik and are members at Apple seeds play area but need more things to do that don't cost the earth.
Does anyone know of any play groups etc? Any ideas? Pooping myself about what it is going to be like!!!!
