Woodwards gripe water expiry?

I heard that if you open bottle of Woodwards gripe water you should use it up within 2 weeks? anybody knows if it's true? I have a bottle for my baby that Im using opened for past 2 months, there is no way I can use it up within 2 weeks after opening...
Bottle says expiry in 2013 but nothing about used by after opening
any feedback on this please?
