Hello Ladies,

just found out m expecting * yuppie* , 8 weeks.

I ve visited my doctor already and she gave me a green light to do exercises, if I ve done them before.

Since March I am doing Xtend Barre, twice a week. I saw also other pregnant women there.
I also asked my Instructor if it would be ok and she said no problem.
Well, then I had a new instructor, who was a little irritated and gave me a speech of how dangerous it is so early....

Now I m scared to continue, doctor said "Ok, no problem" my first Instructor said as well no problem, but the second one said to wait till the end of the first trimester.

I m hesitating to continue, even though my doctor said its fine and everything is alright with the baby. Who should I listen to? M so confused, I like the exercise because I feel so happy and full of energy after and it really helps the MS, so I thought it was good for me.

What would you do ? Did anyone of you did it through their pregnancy? Google didn't really help either...

I agree with Stix, if you did it before - you should be fine. Just make sure you tell the instructors who will advise you on different exercises to do at certain times, and should you feel uncomfortable - stop I see quite a few pregnant ladies at my Physique 57 barre classes, and they seem happy and comfortable. Congratulations

As long as you have been doing the exercise before and you feel comfortable I would stick with it. I stopped exercise very early on as I was so ill with MS. Wished I hadn't as it's basically impossible to get back into it during your pregnancy. You are the best judge of your own body. Good luck with everything!
