Dubai Metro Music Festival returns for 2022

The week-long music festival returns to metro platforms for the first time since 2019.

After nearly three years, the Dubai Metro Music Festival is back to bring live music to commuters at select metro stations.

The free music festival will run from March 16 - 22, with performances taking place from 4pm to 10pm across the Red Line's five busiest stops: Union station, Burjuman station, Mall of the Emirates station, Jebel Ali station, and the Expo 2020 station.

Commuters can expect a variety of genres, with performances such as the guitar, percussion, violin, saxophone, drums, and much more.

Dubai Metro Music Festival performance timings:

The Dubai Metro Music Festival is run by a collaborative effort by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Brand Dubai, the creative department at Dubai Media Office.

The festival was made to represent the "quintessential spirit of cultural diversity and inclusiveness" that is the Emirate of Dubai, said Shaima Al Suwaidi, city branding manager at Brand Dubai, adding that the event will bring "unique notes of creativity and beauty to the pulse of urban life".
