Expo City Dubai is launching a free-to-watch open air cinema from February 10 to February 18, 2023.

Visit Expo City Dubai this month for a cosy movie night under the stars.
What with the beautiful winter weather (we're not complaining, we love winter in the UAE), there's no reason why you shouldn't be spending lots of time outside enjoying it. Whether you're a movie fan, a parent looking for the next family outing that won't break the bank, or just searching for some time to kill, this new temporary outdoor cinema in Dubai is here to give you your movie fix while enjoying the February's chill breeze.
This month, Expo City Dubai will be having free open-air screenings of fantasy, adventure, and family-friendly films from Friday February 10 to Saturday February 18.
Located in Jubilee Park, the pop-up cinema, held in collaboration with VOX Cinemas, will be showing two movies per day with the first at 6:30 PM and the next at 8:30 PM.
It's first-come, first-serve, so be sure to get there early and find a seat before the max capacity is reached. You can also bring your own picnic blankets and chairs for a cosier experience so won't have to look for an empty seat.
Snacks such as popcorn, nachos, and hotdogs will available for the movie-goers.
What movies will be showing at the pop-up cinema?
For now, the official Expo City Dubai Instagram account revealed the movies for February 10 and 11.
Friday February 10 will see Toy Story at 6:30 PM and then Black Panther at 8:30 PM.
Saturday February 11 will start with Finding Nemo, followed by Blank Panther's sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Sunday February 12 will have Luca, and Julie and Julia.
Movies will be shown with English dubbed audio with Arabic subtitles.
While the Dubai Expo 2020 legacy site is free to visit, there is an entry fee for some pavilions and attractions. It costs AED 50 per attraction, with the 1-day Attractions Pass costing AED 120 which includes access to the following sites: Vision Pavilion, Women's Pavilion, The Sustainability Pavilion (Terra) and The Mobility Pavilion (Alif).
