Provide aid for Dubai residents affected by the severe weather through 'Jood'.

After heavy rains lashed neighbourhoods across the UAE on April 16, some people continue to feel the impact of the floods.

If you're interested in helping our community and supporting your fellow resident, you can do so through the Dubai Community Development Authority's (CDA) new 'Tadhamon' or Solidarity Initiative on the 'Jood' platform.

The charity campaign allows individuals, private sector organisations, etc. to legally contribute support to Dubai residents who were impacted by the strong rains.

How to Contribute Support Through 'Jood' Platform?

The government-approved and led Solidarity Initiative on 'Jood' aims to collect contributions to assist those affected by the recent strong rains that lashed the UAE.

Below is a step-by-step guide:

  • Visit the official 'Jood' platform:
  • Select 'Solidarity Initiative' and click 'Contribute'.
  • Input the amount you'd like to contribute and press 'Donate Now'.

You can choose to keep your contribution anonymous, or add your email ID and mobile number.

CDA Dubai authorities have said they received numerous requests for contributions from the public, including business people, companies, and other entities who are eager to lend a helping hand.

As of April 24, the initiative has collected over AED 2 million to help support residents struggling in the aftermath of the adverse weather conditions.

"Through the launch of the relief campaign on the ‘Jood’ platform, our goal is to streamline the process for community members and companies willing to support those impacted, making it convenient for them to provide financial assistance for damages to properties and homes," said Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director General of CDA Dubai.

The platform provides a seamless participation opportunity for everyone, along with real-time updates on the Solidarity Initiative's contribution progress and accomplishments.

"We encourage all to contribute, strengthening our ability to support with resilience," said Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director General of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai.

The campaign is in line with the directives of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai.
