Price of All Covid-19 Tests in Dubai Reduced to AED 250

The decision was made to encourage more people in Dubai to get tested for the virus

The price of Covid-19 tests in Dubai has been slashed to AED 250, announced the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). Previously, the typical cost of a PCR nasal swab test was AED 370.

On Sunday, DHA reduced the price of PCR nasal swabs in both private and public medical facilities by more than AED 100.

The move part of the authority's precautionary and preventive measures, as it aims to encourage more residents, citizens, and visitors in the emirate to be more proactive with their Covid-19 tests.

DHA said they would spare no effort to combat Covid-19 to ensure the safety of the UAE community.

The decision follows a similar announcement by the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) to cut down the costs of Covid-19 tests.

In Abu Dhabi, the move applied to all drive-through and walk-in Covid-19 test services offered in the capital.

To enter Abu Dhabi, a negative PCR test result is required from outside the emirate's borders, which must be received from the previous 48 hours.
