Fakih IVF fertility center's boast latest technologies in a new fertility center in Abu Dhabi

Following its successful operation in Dubai and North America, Fakih IVF has set up a new fertility treatment center in Abu Dhabi. This center features the latest technologies and equipment and aims at raising the bar of fertility treatments in the UAE.

“The center uses ground breaking technology which is not readily available in many other clinics, in the UAE or abroad. The EmbryoScope with Time-Lapse Technology, for example, makes it easy to select the best embryo for transfer. This increases the chances of a successful pregnancy. We also have a state of the art in-house genetics laboratory that can test for any hereditary diseases as well as perform chromosomal testing thus substantially reducing the chances of miscarriages” said Dr Michael Fakih, who leads the team of local experts and doctors from Europe and the USA.

In addition to the new Abu Dhabi center, Fakih IVF is planning to open a few more centers in the UAE and other countries in the GCC in the next few years. “We feel that the region is in need of world-class fertility treatment centers and our goal is to become the leading fertility treatment center in the region; the launch of our Abu Dhabi center is the first step in that direction,” added Dr. Fakih.

The Fakih IVF center in Abu Dhabi offers a range of fertility treatments, such as: In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intra-Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Natural Cycle IVF, Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) for recurrent miscarriages and gender selection, genetic testing of hereditary diseases, male infertility treatment including azoospermia, preserving fertility in cancer patients, and many others.

Abu Dhabi nationals who have the Thiqa insurance card are 100% covered on costs of the treatment, while non-nationals who have their Daman cards can enjoy the same privilege. For those who do not have medical insurance cover, some banks, especially the Abu Dhabi National Bank, extend loans to cover the cost of such treatments.
