The annual celebration of all things wellness and fitness is back, and you're invited to join!

There's nothing more motivating to pick up our running shoes, dust off the gym bag, and download a workout playlist than the annual Dubai Fitness Challenge.

For some of us, our daily steps and exercise routines have dropped due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Many of us are working at home, making us lose the daily steps from our commutes. Gyms and group classes have reopened at limited capacities. The marathons we’ve been training for have been canceled.

For many others, the outbreak didn't allow them to get thrown off their workout routine, and stuck to their goals. But whether you've stopped or you're pushing through, the annual Dubai Fitness Challenge is here to support you in your fitness and nutrition goals.

What is the Dubai Fitness Challenge?

Launched in 2017 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, the citywide initiative aims to establish Dubai as the most active city in the world. For one month, Dubai citizens and residents are encouraged to complete at least 30 minutes of activity every day for 30 days.

The Dubai Fitness Challenge, also referred to as #DXB30x30 on social media, is dedicated to inspiring everyone in the emirate to seek active, healthy lifestyles with a fitness-focused mindset.

From Friday, 30 October to Saturday, 28 November 2020, you can expect an action-packed calendar of exciting events that centers on fitness and wellness for all ages to help you achieve a fitter, stronger, better you.

How to get involved in Dubai Fitness Challenge 2020

The best part is that you don't need to be super-fit or be a gym member to commit to the Dubai Fitness Challenge. Regardless of if you’re a beginner, intermediate, or workout-fanatic, there's an activity to fit your abilities!

What's happening for #Dubai30x30 this year?

In 2017, almost 1 million people from the Dubai Government and corporate sectors, and schools, universities, and the general public joined in the movement and committed to getting their daily #Dubai30x30.

For 2018, a wide range of over 4,000 gym activities, free fitness facilities, sports, as well as weekend fitness carnivals was enjoyed across the city.

Last year, the citywide event closed off with a massive Tough Mudder Challenge at Dubai Festival City, which put many of us to the test.

For 2020, the Dubai Fitness Challenge will continue its commitment to wellness and bring the fitness world to you.
