DreamWorks' Trolls Are Coming to Dubai For a Technicolour 25th DSF Celebration

Trolls visit Dubai to mark the first time Thomas Dam’s all-singing, all-dancing characters have come to the Middle East.

Meraas, the Dubai-based holding company, has kickstarted celebrations for the 25th Dubai Shopping Festival with DreamWorks’ Trolls and Spongebob Squarepants official mascots. Festivities began from 26 December and will continue till 2 February across their destinations.

Join Poppy, Branch and the rest of the colour-happy Trolls gang for a month of fun-filled shows across Dubai at your favourite Meraas’ destinations. Non-ticketed shows will take place three times a day throughout the month to give everyone a chance to experience an evening filled with song and dance with the Trolls.

Let your little ones find their inner happiness at an array of games and activities at your favourite Meraas destinations. City Walk, Meraas’ open-air lifestyle destination, started the DSF celebrations on 26 December and hosted the first-ever Trolls shows in the UAE. The Trolls tour continues to Al Seef, La Mer, The Beach, and The Outlet Village. Shop, dine and play at any of the destination’s exciting outlets and get an exclusive meet & greet opportunity for the kids with their favourite Trolls characters.

La Mer, the world-class beachfront destination by Meraas, will also host everyone’s favourite Nickelodeon character, Spongebob Squarepants from 2 to 11 January and City Walk will carry on the fun from 16 to 25 January. Sing along with Spongebob and the gang at City Walk and come hang out at La Mer for a set of free shows daily, where the family can enjoy peppy performances with Spongebob and his friends from the Goo lagoon. A minimum spends of AED 100 at La Mer’s retailers or restaurants will immediately grant you a meet and greet with Spongebob, his best friend Patrick and his grouchy neighbour, Squidward.
