We're floating closer and closer to Middle East Film & Comic Con 2020 this March 5 - 7 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, and MEFCC's first round of awesome A-lister celebrities and special guests are already wowing fans.
Catch up with the stars of Aladdin, Superman, Elektra, and Lord of the Rings as they're all landing in Dubai next month as part of Comic Con's spectacular line-up.
Disney enthusiasts will have the chance to meet Canadian-Egyptian actor Mena Massoud, who played Agrabah's rags-to-riches prince in the live-action remake of the 1992 animated classic. You can find Prince Ali, fabulous he, at his meet and greets where you can take photos, score signed merchandise, as well as hear stories and ask questions at the celebrity panels.
The movie, close to many of our hearts, carries a well-intentioned universal message of being true to yourself.
But that's not all. DC geeks will also have the chance to meet the Man of Steel. American actor Brandon Routh, who played the iconic superhero in the 2006 movie "Superman Returns" and in the 2019 Arrowverse crossover event "Crisis on Infinite Earths", will be at Comic Con to meet the region's superfans.
Elodie Yung, best known for her role as Elektra Natchios in the second season of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Netflix series Daredevil, is also announced for MEFCC.
The French-born actress starred in the Netflix miniseries The Defenders. In 2013, she appeared on the silver screen as the ninja Jinx in G.I. Joe: Retaliation.
The fourth celebrity is an absolute win for the region's Lord of the Rings fans. Welsh actor, voice actor, and producer John Rhys-Davies, who is best known for his portrayal of Gimli and as the voice of TreeBeard in the Lord of The Rings trilogy, will no doubt have plenty of stories to share with fans at MEFCC from his long-standing career spanning multiple universes.
Rhys-Davies' impressive filmography goes back to the 1970s - he's also starred as Sallah in the classic Indiana Jones films.
Stay tuned as MEFCC still has more celebrities to reveal in the coming weeks!
