In Pictures: ExpatWoman's Festive Fair 2019

The 8th edition of the annual event firmly kick-started the festive season in the emirate.

The sun was shining without a cloud in sight for 12,000+ festive shoppers at the 8th annual ExpatWoman Festive Fair last Friday at its new home in Dubai Sports City.

The free-entry event kick-started Dubai’s festive season, bringing opportunity for children and families to see Santa and meet some of the best companies in Dubai to discover what they have to offer in celebration of the festive season.

Like every year, the Fair offered attendees a full day of free activities for children, with onstage performances by professional entertainers as well as local school dancers and choirs. With over 100 artisans selling unique and interesting products in the Crafter’s Market, for many, the ExpatWoman Festive Fair marks the starting point for festive shopping.

This year, the event’s hours were extended into the evening with onstage acts keeping the crowd entertained, supported by a range of bars and food trucks. Eventgoers were also able to participate in a huge giveaway of a four-night, full-board stay in an overwater villa in the Maldives thanks to Mövenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives.

That's not all - thanks to Al Ghandi Auto and GMC, visitors joined in a full-day program of DIY Holiday Home workshops and classes where they were able to make festive decorations throughout the day. Plus, FRIENDS fans were able to sit and take pictures with the world-famous orange couch, thanks to STARZ PLAY.
