Due to the current situation worldwide...

Given the recent concerns surrounding the Coronavirus outbreak across the world, another event has fallen victim to the speight of postponements and cancellations occurring across the UAE.

Announced by The Irish Village's official Twitter account, and later confirmed by organisers, the Madness Concert that was planned on March 5 at the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Stadium and The Irish Village has been postponed.

The band will still be returning to Dubai to perform their well-known hits such as Our House and Baggy Trousers - but a little later in the year than originally planned.

The new date has been confirmed as Thursday 12th November, 2020.

With 15 huge top 10 hits including Baggy Trousers, House of Fun, Our House, and One Step Beyond over a 30-year career, this performance is one not to miss. Over this period Madness has bounced comfortably between solo projects, TV, and film becoming part of British music culture with their mix of ska, reggae, Motown, rock'n'roll, rockabilly, classic pop, and the pin-sharp vernacular of their beloved London streets.

It may be refined and updated, but its essence remains clear and true... This is what they do best and in November, a night of singalong hits is guaranteed.

In 2000, Madness won an Ivor Novella Award for Outstanding Song Collection and have continued to show their talents since then. The latest album "Can't Touch Us Now" reached number five in the UK album charts, they have since done UK and Worldwide Tours playing everything from the classics to the new.

Ticket details and refunds

Organisers will be contacting all ticket holders with further details, and are being reassured that tickets will either be refunded or valid for the new date in November.
