It's official... There WILL be fireworks at Burj Khalifa this New Year's Eve!
Due to popular demand, Emaar will be bringing the fireworks display back this year to celebrate New Year and ring in 2019 at the world's largest tower.
The master developer of Burj Khalifa confirmed that the "spectacular" fireworks will again light up the country's most recognisable landmark this December 31s.

“Emaar is gearing up for yet another spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration that will feature several amazing new elements in addition to spectacular fireworks, returning this year by popular demand,” the company shared in a statement.
The annual fireworks display at Burj Khalifa was replaced last year by a laser light and sound show to welcome in 2018, leaving some residents with mixed reactions.
