Real Housewives of Dubai show is confirmed

If we had to name an equally unexpected but totally expected combination, then the green-lit The Real Housewives of Dubai series is probably it.

The reality TV show from Bravo follows the everyday lavish lifestyles of well-off housewives living in luxury communities. It seems like a perfect match for the glitzy side of Dubai, a city that is famous to non-UAE residents as a destination for shopping scene, luxury fashion, and futuristic architecture.

While the series hasn't started filming yet, nor were the #RHODUBAI cast revealed, almost everyone on Dubai's social media has been dying to know - who are the cast members in the Real Housewives of Dubai?

ExpatWoman is just as curious, so we rounded up some of the most popular guesses who have either refused to issue a response when asked, or denied they're involved.

Friendly reminder that these are just speculations, so it's anybody's guess really!

Will Linday Lohan appear in The Real Housewives of Dubai?

It's a "good idea" said Cohen, but according to the show's Executive Producer, the lineup and guest appearances have already been decided.

Both Bravo and Cohen have not issued a statement or commented on any other celebrity involvement or guest appearances.

What can we expect from the Dubai edition?

The Real Housewives of Dubai will follow the lives of a group of women navigating their relationships, careers and supremely lavish and ultra-wealthy lifestyles in UAE, stated a press release.

"With the desert paradise of Dubai as the backdrop, this billionaire’s playground is known for its over-the-top opulence, jaw-dropping modern architecture and wild nightlife scene," it continued.

"Everything’s bigger in Dubai, and I couldn’t be more excited to launch Bravo’s first international ‘Housewives’ series in a city I’ve been fascinated by for years, with an outstanding group of friends as our guides," said Cohen.
