ExpatWoman's Burj Al Arab Breakfast

Over one hundred glamorous women joined us on October 14th at the iconic Burj Al Arab for our hugely popular, annual event.

The theme for this year’s event was all about Eye Health and Beauty, in celebration of World Sight Day, which raises awareness about the importance of preventative eye screening. For the occasion, we teamed up with leading experts in eye health and care Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai, one of Dubai's most recognisable aesthetics brands, Kaya Skin Clinic, and the wonderfulPinky Goat Lashes.

Starting off with refreshments, our ladies began their morning mingling and enjoyed make-up touches with "WOW" factor eyelashes, courtesy of Pinky Goat Lashes.

Of course, eye health is equally important as lash volume... Our ladies had the chance to speak to expert Dr. Sandra Fiorentini, a General Opthalmologist from Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai, and they were able to enter a raffle for a chance to win FREE consultations.

And last, but not least, guests tried their luck with Kaya Skin Clinic’s spin-the-wheel, winning some fabulous discounts and free facials. Kaya Skin Clinic also brought along their skin analyser, which reveals some not-so-great hidden truths about what’s really going on deep in one’s skin.

The formal program kicked off with Dr. Sandra Fiorentini, who shared informative insights and tips on eye care and health, followed by the delicious breakfast, and closing off with the raffle prize announcements where five lucky women WON free consultations at Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai.

All ladies went home with fabulous lashes from Pinky Goat Lashes AND a free laser session from Kaya Skin Clinic, worth AED 600!

All in all, the event was an informative and glamorous morning, set in one of the most remarkable venues in the emirate. We'd like to say a special thank you to everyone who joined us and we hope to see you next year!
