We recently hosted the 2018 edition of our annual lifestyle event, Living in Dubai and expat families from all across the city joined in for a day of valuable information, services, prizes and activities! Newly-arrived and seasoned expats alike came along to the event to find out more about the great service providers and products offered in this wonderful city and all entered a chance to win a four-night staycation at Movenpick Resort & Spa Tala Bay in Jordan...Our big congratulations to the lucky winner, Rima, who took the prize home!

Fun for all
We had some very entertaining guests… the 501st Legion UAE Outpost! Mums, dads, and little ones loved taking photos with the friendly troopers. Tots also had loads of fun at SplashNBounce’s massive soft-play area whilst mums and dads roamed the exhibition.

Exhibitors
Our exhibitors this year ranged across industries – from health, to education, home and beauty, to expat mortgage services! Mediclinic Welcare Hospital was with us, offering free BMI, sugar and cholesterol testing.

The team for Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai were at the event, offering free eye exams whilst little ones enjoyed a range of free arts and crafts activities.

Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about sourcing and managing a UK mortgage from overseas by consulting with the experts from Liquid Expat Mortgages.
Parents were able to learn more about various different education providers in the city and had the opportunity to chat directly with the teams from Brighton College, Dwight School, Mindchamps Nursery, Dovecote School and Blossom Nursery.
Those looking for great discounts had fun trying their luck at Cobone’s Spin-the-Wheel and young and old were well-entertained with InstaShop’s photobooth, with six lucky families winning vouchers worth AED 200!

Visitors also had the opportunity on how to earn a living from home as a travel expert with Holidayme…and also got the chance to win a trip to Georgia!

Fitness enthusiasts had the chance to meet the teams from LiveFreshr and StayFit365 – with some even participating in StayFit365’s entertaining fitness challenge on stage!
Vorwork Kobold UAE and Sentinel Storage were also on hand to answer any home and storage-related questions, with three lucky winners going home with one-month free storage.
Shea Global showcased their wonderful range of natural beauty products and also put a group of ladies to test, with a fun pop-up quiz all about natural beauty... the lucky winner won a lovely hamper filled with Mitra's Bath and Body products!
