I am almost certain I've seen them in ACE Hardware and -- if my memory serves -- in Geant and C4 as well. In Australia, they come in a number of sizes but the most common version is LARGE [lol!'>. Invariably, they are white with red and blue stripes and yes, are a strange sort of plastic-coated hessian-like material. Bag of choice when you're moving between student housing. ;) Good luck.

I don't know if they are really called China Bags, that's what we refer to them as. They are the big square woven plastic bags with straps. You will see merchants at these little stalls carry around their wares in them. I need 4-5 and have no idea where to find them. DH was in Bur dubai but couldn't seem to explain what it was or find out where to get them. any clue where to get them? Thanks!!
