I have Valoid suppositories. I'm in Mirdif near Uptown if you want them. But for piece of mind, I'd head to City Hospital A&E.

I totally understand where you are coming from. Same in this house. Go to the hospital..they can administer suppositories..unless you have some at home. Freckles Jr had it for 7 days now so please go now.

I think, given it is Friday, I would head off to an A&E department - not many of the surgeries open on Friday morning. Hope your baby recovers soon. Have you tried sponging his/her body and letting the water evaporate to bring done the fever, and placing cool damp flannels in the groin area? My son used to suffer from terribly high fevers and this is how I used to help him before the medication started to work.

If you have been dosing him with calpol or similar and the temp is not coming down and is still at 40 I would bundle him in the car and take him to a&e. I took my little girl to a& e at city hospital in the middle of the night a few weeks back and they were superb. If the temp is not responding then that's high and needs investigating. edited by Clairehdp on 18/03/2011 edited by Clairehdp on 18/03/2011
