Our 10 year old daughter is really missing gymnastics. She used to train 5 nights a week (15 hours) back in the UK, and was of a very good standard. I have tried to find somewhere here that would be able to continue her development but have come a blank! We did travel to Dubai to try out the Dubai gymnastic club, however the level was too low, and I didn't feel it justified the long travel to and fro 4/5 nights a week (plus 3 other grumpy kids in the back of the car!)
If anyone has any ideas as to where we might be able to get high level coaching I would be hugely greatful, seems such a shame that she should stop something that she has worked so hard with for the last 5 years.
In anticipation, many thanks x

The Ladies Sports academy off 26th street does have lessons, and I am having my daughter do them. (They also have lots of other great sports classes). It is behind a row of embassies, and is only marked as "No Men Allowed" on the metal gate. There is a lot going on there, and prices are competative.

Also someone told me today Al Raha school has gymnastics - again I am not sure of what ages. If you are going to Taya's then please let me give you directions. What should have been very easy was not and it took us ages and many phone calls to the teacher.

We are starting at this place near 26th Street. Not quite sure how to get there yet. My daughter is 3.5 so not sure of the other age groups. Her name is Taya and number 050 7810 635 This may or may not be what you are after but worth a call.

What school is she attending? BSAK has a gymnastic club running from school, but these days it's only for BSAK kids (it used to be open to all). the reason i believe why bsak closed it to outsiders were that some non bsak parents were abusing the facilities, so they got given the boot.
