These ladies from the UAE, both expatriate and Emirati, will be at the Olympics 2024 games in Paris

Emirati, Indian, Jordanian, Sudanese, and Eritrean female athletes will be flying from the UAE to Paris.
The Paris 2024 Olympic games is one of the biggest events this year, taking place in the French capital from July 26 to August 11.
Out of around 11,040 athletes participating in 32 sports including swimming, basketball, and cycling, five of these are UAE citizens or Dubai-based expatriate women making history on the world stage.
These are the five female stars from the UAE - both expat residents and Emirati - to watch at the Paris 2024 Olympics!
Safiya Al Sayegh, Road Races
UAE professional cyclist Safiya Al Sayegh made waves as the first female Emirati who qualified for the Olympics, landing a place in history as she will be representing her nation for the road races at the Paris 2024 games.
"Am I dreaming? I’m going to be an Olympian?!? And the very first Emirati female cyclist?!?" Al Sayegh captioned excitedly in an Instagram post.
"Still can’t come to believe this, I think it will take some time, but all I know is that I’m over the clouds. Time to work even harder," she added.

Tanisha Crasto, Women's Double Badminton
Dubai-born and raised shuttler Tanisha Crasto will be representing her home country of India at the Paris Olympics 2024, alongside her badminton partner - doubles stalwart and former Commonwealth Games gold medalist Ashwini Ponnappa.
A badminton prodigy since her teenage years, she was a former Indian High School Dubai student before she moved to India in 2017 and continued training at the one of the most esteemed badminton academies in the country.

Christina Rach, Freestyle Swimming
16-year old GEMS Wellington International School student Christina will be travelling from Dubai to Paris after qualifying for the 50-metre freestyle swimming event at the 2024 Olympics.
Rach will be a proud representative and flag bearer for her mother's country, Eritrea, at the games. The Dubai-based student hails from a family with a strong love for sports, as her German father and his family members are former athletes.
