Hi! I am just starting an IVF with Dr. Majeed at Al Noor this week. I had an appointment at Fakih a few months ago and I didn't like it there at all. I feel pretty good about Dr. Majeed. I did and IVF in San Francisco last year and it was successful, but unfortunately I lost the baby at 12 weeks. I gave Dr. Majeed all my records and we are basically repeating what I did before.
I'd be very happy to talk more with you about it if you'd like.

Hi I wondered how you got on with your search. I have had treatment in the UK (twice unsuccessfully) and twice here in Dubai at the Bourne Hall clinic. Both attempts were unsuccessful but I know someone who was successful. The clinic was nice and modern and there is a British doctor (David) who was good. As we knew the process we needed little in the way of details on the procedure so I cannot say how good they would be from that perspective.
They used to have British nurses but they have left now but the other nurses are nice and helpful.
The only thing that puts me off using them again is the driving to Dubai was pretty stressful is can't have helped as I was always getting out of work for hours at a time. I would be interested to know if you have heard anything about the Corniche fertility unit as they have employed a new specialist consultant to lead this in 2012 and wondered if you had heard anything about that?
Hi All,
I'm new on here and was looking for some recommendations for IVF clinics. We have had two unsucessful IVF attempts last year with Dr Snowdon at Al Noor. When I rang today to make another appointment, I was told she had left and they were not able to tell me where she had gone (I was not very impressed!). I've booked an appointment with the new doctor there, Dr Majeed Aloum - does anyone have any experience of him?
Also, does anyone have any recommendations for other places in Abu Dhabi? Has anyone gone to Dubai?
I can't find any impartial guidance online (sucess rates etc), so any help for any of you would be very gratefully received. Many thanks
