Thanks so much for emails - I have spoken with my maid and asked her to be very honest with me about what she is looking for in a new employer. She has said that she does not feel qualified to take on small children as she does not have much experience (rather sad actually, as it seems she had to leave her daughter in the Philippines at a very young age to come back here to work) and would rather work for a family that either has older children / no children, although she loves animals so would ideally like to go somewhere that they have pets as well.
There is one lady out there (not to mention names, but the lady I did the red shirt cake for) who it seems would fit the bill well! For some reason I cannot log in to my mail.com account (not sure why!!!), but I will email you later on and maybe we can arrange for you to meet her?
I really appreciate all of you who replied - Im sorry I havent managed to get back to each of you individually!!! In the event that the above one falls through, I will have a trawl through the emails I got again - would really like to find a nice place for her before I go! Good luck to all out there who are looking - there are many lovely people out there, dont let the bad apples spoil the barrow!!!
