I have used this forum 3 times already to fix BB problems and avoid taking the phone to a shop/repair. I even took one BB into pieces to fix a problem with the screen and put it back together (and it worked) I just followed the instructions from this site.
Another good site is crackberry.com. In two cases I had to re-install the Operating System (via the BB desktop software).

well am trying to open up the text message icon and i get the following message
"Uncaught exceptiopn java.lang.indexOutOfBoundsException"
but if someone sends me a sms i can read it and reply to it, just can't send one independently....
Have tried removing the battery but doesn't help.....
Can anyone advise how to solve this without going via Etisilat as am not sure i have the patience.
