My son got a new passport this summer and his UAE visa needs to be cancelled BUT-it's in his old passport which never made it's way back to us. Has anyone dealt with this before?We've actually already left and won't be coming back so I just want it sorted and tidied away(preferably without a huge fine and a travel ban!)

Hi, Don't think there's going to be any problem for you as the visa is automatically invalid and cancelled once you've been out of the country for 6 months. Would have been a bigger issue if your son had been employed and sponsored by his employer but if you or your husband is/was the sponsor you can just forget about the whole thing as far as I know.
