Car tinting, computer fixing and reflexology in one thread!

Friday morning i went to the 3M place in Ibn Battuta.....for reference dont bother getting there till 11am (opening time). The guy was very professional and extremely helpful, i got my 4x4 tinted with legal 30% (or 70%VLT) for 950aed with 5 yrs warranty.

I asked the question about the windscreen as i saw a 7days story of a guy who got stopped in Nov and was told to remove the clear crystal film from the front window. The 3M guy informed me that it was my choice but i take the risk as for the last 2 months its been illegal to have ANY film on your screen....even clear.....ok so they actually have to stop you and find it, and granted, there are a lot of much darker car windows on the street, but its up to you whether you want to run the risk....and for the cost of it, i decided against it (too chicken).

i was trying all last week to contact them, email and phone, but no response and the telephone numbers didnt work. I also tried Safedata (for HP and Compaq warranty repairs, although i am sure they will fix any model). Again no response to email and telephone line just went to a general mail box that you couldnt leave a message, so i drove to find them.
I found thier shop at the side entrance of Al Rostamani Tower A, and have to say i am VERY impressed with the staff. They did have my email but i think it only went to the secretary who probably didnt understand my technical description of the issue.....the engineer did and its with them for repair..... will report back with cost and speed of repair, but i can recommend the apparent competency of the engineer thus far!

Then after a weekend tinting the car, playing rounders in the park with friends, being blown away by a shamal, researching trellis options, delivering computer for fixing, having Du installed, putting up bathroom shelves, i treated myself to a back massage and reflexology for the first time......i went to Cut above was in there for an hour and a half and for 280AED i came out so relaxed....it was great.... how great is reflexology???!!!!!

Cant wait for next weekend..........and rest!!!!!!!!
