Has anyone actually been to a camel race? Where do you go? I would love to be in one of those Land Cruisers racing next to the camels while they run. How do I organise that?

Have done this many times with guests. Go out to the Camel race track just past the 7's on a Weds/Thurs afternoon and there is normally racing on. If you do follow the race there are a couple of things to remember, you must not on any account get in anyone's way, so you will need to follow at the back and off to the side. Dress respectfully [anyway'> this is a very local event at which you are a guest. If you have blacked out windows to your car you may not be able to follow. It's great fun and the photo opportunities amazing. Enjoy!
