My husband makes currys and Tom Yum frequently and usually enough for left overs for the next day. I think it tastes better after a reheat :)

Does anyone else find that re-heated chicken has a 'twang' to it? I cannot put my finger on the taste, but I prefer it cold rather than re-heated.

am presuming that you add the shrimp towards teh end? You can make all up to the point that you add the shrimp and just add the shrimp before serving. The chicken will be fine to reheat (or even nuke)

i would take the shrimp out and reheat the sauce then add shrimp at last minute to re heat. i wouldnt cook rice in advance tho. cook when needed and cook only how much is needed. you cant be so challenged if you made thai curry and soup, they are not soooooooooo easy. well done, i love both yum yum.

I am no expert but personally I would probably reheat the chicken and make the shrimp one fresh - I find that reheated shrimps can sometimes go a bit soggy when reheated. However I would think that both are safe to reheat if you are really pushed for time later. And I am sure you know this already but just make sure the meat is boiling hot all the way through when you reheat it or it can make you very ill.

Yes you can reheat if you make sure cooled and put in fridge and then reheated throughly through before serving, or make soup and add fish and chicken just prior to service.

Ok, so i'm making Tom Yum soup and Thai green curry for tea. Would it be ok to make them both this afternoon and heat them up later, or cook them when i want to serve them, as one contains shrimps and one chicken? *Hangs head in shame for having to ask and wishes she had another username to hide behind*
