A scooter! I know that these are usually above 100 or even above 200, but with the sales on, I found a place in Festival centre next to Toys 'r us...im sorry I cant remember the name, but they were selling scooters for 85 AED - what a bargain..and my niece LOVED it!
Thanks ladies, I'll get onto the lookout for crafting/making things. I'm actually in Doha but a Park'n'Shop has just opened here so it gives me an excuse to see if it's up to par with the Dubai one!
I always buy craft items, drawing or writing books, funky pens and colouring pencils. I have girls that age and they love to receive those type of items. Things that they can make themselves. The Toy Shop in MOE has a good range of DIY craft items.
for my husbands relatives who only seem to have 8 yr old girls I always buy science kits/beading sets (educational activities) and then with whats left over of my budget i buy smaller trinkets like hair clips or charms.
Books, crafty stuff. Park'n'shop have some cute doll making kits that my 7 year old loves making - they're pretty inexpensive too, you could pop next door to Book Worm and grab a couple of those Fairy Chapter Books to go with it.
My DS has 2 parties coming up for girls, any ideas? I usually spend 100dhs or under....
I don't know either girls or their parents otherwise that would be my first stop, TIA!
