Cafe au lait - have you tried ringing Al Mutannabi bookshop in Bur Dubai (opposite Burjuman mall, behind carpark). They carry all te books for the CELTA/DELTA courses that are run from universities here, and textbooks for just about everything, so definitely worth a try. Best to phone them as their website isn't always up to date (www.albatra.com). Very helpful staff there too!
Thanks spongemonkey!! I have never bought a book in this format before. How exciting!!! =) Thanks so much for your help!!! I guess I have to move my own learning into the 21 century too!!!
It is not BUYING - it is FREE!

Perhaps you thought I meant "Google it" - Google books is a MAMMOTH project to digitise all library held stocks onto the Web!
You can read it free on line at that link below.

It is there in Google Books!
Just a bump for the morning crew: I am currently doing a MA TESOL and am looking to borrow or buy this book from anyone who might have it: e-Learning in the 21 century, by Garrison and Anderson. Please and thank you!

well, just found out I was searching for the wrong title. It's actually called e-learning in the 21 century. I will start my search again! At least now, I have an isbn. Thanks again.
Thanks for those suggestions! I will check them out. The frustrating thing is that I can't even find the ISBN number for the book, so I had to write to the prof for more details.
That's what I like about this website, people help others, thank you. Perhaps I won't have a stroke tonight!

Hi, I am into my second term with my MA TESOL course and I have discovered that I need a text book that was just added to the list. I brought all the books over from Canada this past summer and now I find that I am missing one. For all your TESOLer's out there, could you check and see if you have the book "Philosophy of teaching and Learning" by Garrison and Anderson (2003). I would be happy to buy it from you or if you don't want to sell it, could I borrow it just until my copy arrives? I promise to take good care of it. Many, many thanks in advance.
