Sheraton JBRHas beach/pool day passes for AED100. Not the best pool but nice enough, especially if its the beach you're after. Le Meridian/Westin does them for AED175...Really lovely.

How are the hotel beaches different from public beaches? This is a genuine question as Ive never really been to a hotel beach. Is it just about cleanliness/no prying eyes, or do you get extra facilities? You get all the hotel facilities - sunbeds, towels, waiter service drinks, pool option etc etc you really can't compare!

What about Mamzar beach park? 5AED per person or 30AED per car. Just avoid Friday afternoons as very busy. She's looking at hotel beaches though.....
