For the past 4 years i have been using a lady called Mercian at Nail Spa Ibn Battuta and she was fantastic , but they told me she has now left!!!!! does anyone know where she has gone to or have any recommendations for another lady in the Marina area? nooooooooooo! it is a sad day indeed. she was my thread & wax lady :( did they tell you where she went? is she still in dubai? she is so gentle that i would actually drive to X to continue being a client of hers

I go to Faye, she is from India, she does such a good job in threding and waxing. She works in the Essential salon on Al Wasl Rd, about 20 mins drive from Marina.

I go to Juans salon, in JLT, the Indian girl there (Tasneem) will even do a bit at a time so you are sure. Just explain to her, it's 'your first time' ;) . ....and tell her natural, not the 'surprised look' as some people liek to have :D
