We are some of the lucky ones, that's for sure. My father is being very blase about it all (despite being in Tokyo)...so my "official source" there isn't giving me any real insight into what's going on. :( It makes it even harder to listen to all the news reports.

Explosion at one of the nuclear plants When you post these updates can you say what your source is? The AP is saying the explosion affected the exterior walls, not the actual reactor. And that the radiation leak is actually decreasing. Source: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110312/ap_on_bi_ge/as_japan_earthquake I usually do but if you look on the internet you can find a multitude of sources for yourself. I'm just saying that posting snippets without a link to the full article or sourcing sounds more panicky than actual reporting of what's happening. Obviously I'm a bit more sensitive about the situation because our entire family is in Japan, so I'm watching this closely.
