How can you get to Yas Island from Dubai? Is there a shuttle bus? Any other suggestions?Can someone please help?

The bus timetables are on line. You will need to catch the 290 either at the bus stops at the Petroleum Ins or Sorbonne Uni or Yas Island West freeway exit. Link attached. This bus is caught from the bus station which is next door to Al Wadha Mall so thats where the buses from Dubai would come into as well. http://www.ojra.ae/media/Bus_Service_timetable_Nov_2010.pdf

My geography is shaky so check this but if you catch the Abu Dhabi bus and get off at the Sorbonne Universty stop-the only stop it makes before Abu Dhabi-you could catch a taxi from there. Also check their Facebook link http://www.facebook.com/yasisland <em>edited by wuffles on 12/03/2011</em>

probably you must take the bus from satwa bus station to abu dhabi, and then an other from abu dhabi terminal to yas. probably the time you reach there is time to come back...
