Can anyone recommend a good legal firm for Will writing that doesn't charge a fortune? We've been in Dubai nearly 11 years from the UK and still haven't made a Will...Shocking I know!!

Really? But i thought those types of will weren't accepted here by the courts. I thought it needed to be attested and translated into Arabic etc etc....??? edited by TJC on 24/03/2011

Actually TJC you dont need to go to a law firm at all to make a will! My sister, who is a solicitor in the UK advised me that you simply write your will , sign it and have it witnessed and leave it with who you would like to "look after things" ... which yes, could be your lawyer but most llikely a family member/close friend. There are certain terms you need to use when writing but apart from that its a lot more straightforward than I ever thought and no doubt less expensive! Google template for will . HTH :)
