A place in a school : do we have to pay for term 1 already ??

I received an email from EIS telling me that my child can make her entry in their school in Sept 2011. But i am confused now:

They write that I need to pay the fees , I thought registration fees , did they actually meant Term 1 also ( which will start in 5 months+). I am still waiting for the results of two other schools.

Will email them back tomorrow to be sure but would love to have an answer before.

Once we heard DS was being offered a place, we were then asked to pay a 500dhs "acceptance fee" notnsure if this could be similar to what they require from you.

Some schools ask for Post Date Cheques so beware.

Thank you busybee2, thats reassuring. We do not have any allowances and term 3 at the nursery + term1 for kg2 will be a bit heavy on our budget

schools in dubai can ask for a rego fee of upto 500 dhs you do not need to pay tutition fees until 1st day of term
