Around 45 mins ago a guy stepted by my door and was offering a bed cleaning service!! Which service can take place at 8:45pm in Friday !!! The guy asked how many people living in the apt and who are them (gender)!!!???
After 20 mins I decided to call the security and guess what ??? That dude/ group of people are wanted and all security guys are looking for him!! So be aware!!!! And if they come, dont let them/him in but hold him and immidiately call security!!!

P.S the guy is dressed all in black, black shirt and black jeans. Not sure about nationality but Arab for sure.

Unless there is some damage why wouldnt you get your deposit back, we did from downtown Dubai same day we handed apartment back over? Obviously if LL cant check it that day you would have to wait but unless it requires repainting/major overhaul then no I thought they had to advise you in writing anyway what deductions they are taking from you, if they dont give it back to you then surely its a case for the rent council (whatever its called lol)?

We never paid security deposits up to now ( 33 years in Sharjah). We always dealt with the LL and they never asked, however moving to Mirdif soon and the LL did ask for 5% of the rent. He signed a receipt saying we would get the money back the day we leave the villa if no damages done to the place. I seems a very nice person I hope I can trust him but who knows

That aside, I moved out of Shorooq in December and I am STILL waiting for my security deposit!!!!! Argh don't say that! I moved out last month and they told me 4-6 weeks. They inspected it the day after I moved out.

Man I don't know where some people lived but when we had our Apartment through Deyar, we got our deposit back when we moved out. And the owner of the villa we moved out of this week is refunding us our money today as he has a new tenant moving in today.. Guess we have been lucky

That aside, I moved out of Shorooq in December and I am STILL waiting for my security deposit!!!!! I never heard a story where you get back your deposit!! So when ever I pay deposit I know that I have to forget about it :(

I seriously hope you did not give any information about how many people live in your house, etc. Not even going to ask why you would spend 20 min talking to this person at all.. Sounds like your apt is now a possible target for robbery.
