Can anyone please advise me how much it will cost to send a normal letter (DL sized envelope) to Australia?

I have tried on Emirates Post website but the cheapest is 100dhs which sounds a bit ridiculous. I just want to pop it into one of the red letter boxes without having to go to a post office.

So its only documents? I do all the couriering at our office and have found Emirates Post to be more expensive than some couriers. Try Skynet - they do door to door. For America it only cost Dhs. 50 for 500g or less so I would suspect it may be about the same for Australia - Tel: +971 4 2826 555. Not sure if we have a corporate rate but with them but worth a try. They will collect it from your home/office.

5.50... if you are using the web http://www.emiratespost.com/frame.do?page=%2Fgpaen%2Fgparatecalculator%2FRateCalculatorController%3FSTATUS=HOME%26language%3Den Make sure you select "Registered" as the first type, then you can select letter... usually a DL is <20g unless you put loads of pages in it! Cheers..
