I think the one you are after is the AD Sport box - we got ours from C4 at the beginning of the sason for dh999, but I think they are cheaper now. I thought you had to have their box , but reading Waxmuch's post seems this is no longer so. This gives all the Prem games. However, husband also paid around dh 400 for an al jazira card which goes into the OSN box - I think [but am not sure'> that there is another slot for a second card. This gives him Champions League games and some Eng championship. Not sure about FA cup, am fed up with the hundreds of remotes we now seem to have.

Wellll ... when we moved into our area three years ago, du was the only service provider. No Etisalat. And we've stayed with them ever since because we have a good deal on the bundle [TV, phone, 'Net'>.
We have OSN, as I said, but we also have Pehla/FirstNet [that's the pay-TV service which gives you the access to the footy and other things, in other words: all the sport OSN doesn't provide'>.
We actually have two boxes -- an OSN box AND a 'du' HD box. We tend to use the du box almost exclusively now, but for some strange reason, we can't access OSN Box Office movies on the du box, only the OSN box, which is why we hold onto it.
Hope that hasn't confused you too much! And I hope you get some joy via your phone/tv people. :)
WaxMuch replied :
We have OSN and our provider is du.
WaxMuch thanks for your reply, how is it you are with OSN but your provider is Du? Is your decoder box an OSN one or a Du one?
I find all this very confusing!
We have OSN and our provider is du.
We phoned du and they hooked us up -- remotely -- so that we have all the sports channels [Al Jazeera, AD Sports, NEOCricket etc'> and pay a bit extra every month.
Yes, you can buy another box, but if you have the OSN HD box, you don't need two slots [we only have one, and one SmartCard'>.
Call your TV provider and ask them for help. :)
This has been on my to do list for longer than is good for my marriage!!
DH is desperate to watch the Premier League or Champions League games but as we are with OSN he isn't currently able to watch any and I would like to grant him his wish.....any thing for peace and harmony.
Apparently there is a decoder that we can purchase but some have mentioned just buying a smartcard. Has anyone successfully got an Abu Dhabi Sports viewing card to work in their OSN showbox? If so, how did you do it or who did it for you? and how may smart card slots does you OSN decoder have, our HD decoder only has the one slot?
Any other suggestions would be welcome :)
Thanks
