I'm thinking about hiring a shawarma guy to cater a backyard party. Does anybody have any contacts for this?
Thanks in advance!!

Try JJ Chicken. They make the best Shawarma I've ever tasted and they do outdoor catering as well. Sorry can't help with a no. but if you do a web search I'm sure it will come up.

thanks for all the feedback. And for saving me a trip! 750 is a little steep for our little party, plus it's all females so a lot of the food would go to waste. Will definitely keep them in mind for a party sometime in the future though!

750dh is the minimum cost for eat and drink, and it works out to be around 150 shwarmas. What has happened with us, is they maximise the shwarma's if that makes sense. So...if they see there is only 20 guests they make the shwarmas bigger to match the crowd, and if crowd is bigger they make em stretch so you still can bank on about 3 shwarma's per guest which ever way. You need to pop into eat and drink and finalize booking order and pay a deposit, and you pay the balance to the man on the night. (just as a note...your man on the night will expect to be supplied with drinks...soft drink like coke while he works of course, but every time a coconut they try to scam us out of beer/wine as well as a tip when he packs up and leaves) Have fun..they're great and can't recommend them enough

Hi Amelia, Thanks for the info. Do you know if they would do it for less than 40? I'm expecting maybe 25. And how was the cost established? By person? Sorry for all the questions but I just tried calling a little while ago and had trouble understanding most of what he said other than he told me to go to the head branch in umm suquiem to finish the booking. He didn't tell me a price and I would like to know if it's worth me going there or if it's going to cost too much and I'll move on to plan b. Thanks!!

Eat and Drink did one for us last year for 40 guests and it cost about 750 dhs. From memory it provided 2 or 3 shawarmas each and they were freshly made as required. They bring their own table, gas bottle, etc. and it was excellent.
