Visa for newborn
Hi ladies I was wondering if anyone knew if the attested version of the marriage certificate was definitely required when arranging a newborn visa? I had an attested version but unfortunately my husband has managed to lose it when registering the birth (well I think he gave the original to the company baby steps who did it for him and now it's gone!). If only I had done it myself but I was in the hospital with dd who was in neonatal for a while. Anyway my mum arranged another marriage certificate from the UK for me but it is not attested and has been sent to Dusseldorf with the passport application. Problem is we fly on the 1st of July so don't have too much time- if an attested version is definitely required I may have to request another MC from UK and send off to be attested....... Or are there any other options - she will be more than 120 days old when we leave
Thanks in advance - my husband has contacted baby steps to ask them too (I queried it at the time with him and he assured me that he had ther certificate and it was safe and sound - men!
