We took all ours with us. I just had it packed in my bag ready to go. After the birth you will need to fill in a form - its not a birth certificate, but a decleration of birth-type form, and they need to see your papers for that i believe. To be honest, DH did all this while i was getting to know our new DD, but we were definitely told to bring it, and we definitely needed it, and it was all very straight forward.

I need to make sure my hubby is organised for our upcoming delivery at City Hospital. Do we need to take our passports, marriage certificate or any other paperwork with us or is it pretty straight forward? I'm already registered at City.
