Just wondering as its always a battle. We try cutting them as often as possible since his toe nails start to go ingrown if they get to long. There is always kicking, trying to hit, pulling away and crying.

It's the same with my LO. I do it when he is sleeping as he is screaming like mad :)

1. immediately after a bath... (when the nails and skin are soft) 2. spray a 'magic' spray on it that u got specially from the nail fairy and this will surely not hurt when mummy then cuts the nails (or spin ur own tale depending on what his favourite cartoon character is!) 3. put on his favourite cartoon to distract him while u do the nails 4. offer stickers or icecream as a reward later :) this old trick has worked for my DD for the past two years... and she's 4 now...

I use to be able to when he was sleeping but he wakes up when he gets his feet touched. Those toe nails shouldn't be allowed to grow :)

Can't you do them when he's asleep?
