Can someone possibly help me out. I need to send my daughter back to the UK with her Grandmother next week, but neither myself or my husband will be travelling with them. So we will have a child accompanied by an adult and they have different surnames and not her parent. How much of a problem can this cause at immigration here and in the UK and is there anything we can do to mitigate this? My mum and daughter ate British passport holders, daughter is only 5. They will be travelling from here to Heathrow and then on to Aberdeen on another flight. If anyone has experience of this please can you tell me what to do. This is a really stressful time for our family, my newborn son isn't well and can't fly because he has lung problems so I need my daughter to go to the UK and have some fun with her cousins instead of sitting here watching her parents stress! Thanks
