My almost 2 yo constantly has her fingers in her nappy. She's discovered a freckle that's she's fascinated with but I don't think it's just that. I considered taking in a sample to make sure she doesn't have a UTI but wouldn't she have a fever if she did? I also don't think the nappies are too tight so what's up??...

DD is 22 months and has been doing this too. Was thinking it might be thrush actually-, seems to have passed now and she did have a slight rash so it may have been that. And just like Frazzle I had the same lovely experience one afternoon when I went to pick her up from her after nap:\: Hopefully this is all just a phase!

My son is the same. The other day he proudly pointed his finger in my face to show me he had poop on it, the filthy child :\: He's also 2 but has been doing it for some time now and I'm praying he'll stop soon... I think it's just something they're fascintated with. Unfortuately!
