Hi ladies,
I am 20 weeks pregnant and going to Medcare for Antenatal check-ups because my insurance covers it.
At 21 weeks I am due for the Fetal Anomaly Scan but my insurance doesnt cover that (they measure the babies limbs, check heart and overall development).
I would prefer not to pay for it since we are saving up, it's around 800dhs, so I was wondering if a govt hospital would do it for me? Or is it required I have taken my whole Antenatal package with the govt hospital in order for them to do it?

Also, is the Anomoly scan really that important? I have had a trouble-free pregnancy so far, had scans and doc said baby is on track (Alhamdulilah!)

Feedback greatly appreciated :)
